REPCalibrated Steel Plates (KG)

REP’s Calibrated Steel Plates (KG) are engineered for precision and performance, making them ideal for competitive lifting. Designed in Colorado, these plates offer the same feel and reliability as those used on official competition platforms, ensuring every lift translates seamlessly from training to meet day.

Each steel plate is calibrated to a strict tolerance of +/-10g, giving you complete confidence in the weight on the bar. Made from premium steel and finished with a sandblasted electroless nickel coating, the plates are highly durable while maintaining a refined, professional look. This nickel finish is tougher than standard powder coat or chrome, resisting smudges and concealing wear over time. REP’s unique chamfered edge design also makes handling easier when loading or unloading plates from a bar or storage rack.

The plates feature a slim profile—ranging from 4.3mm to 23.3mm depending on size—allowing maximum loading on the bar, with capacity exceeding 400kg using larger plates. They are IPF compliant and use internationally recognized color-coding for quick identification: red 25kg, blue 20kg, yellow 15kg, green 10kg, and white 5kg, with laser-etched markings for durability. Smaller plates from 0.25kg–2.5kg follow standard specifications without colour bands.

These plates are nickel-coated for a premium, long-lasting finish, more resilient than powder coat or hard chrome. They are precisely calibrated within +/-10g, colour-coded for easy identification, IPF compliant, and thin enough to allow heavy loading—up to 400kg on a standard barbell.
